"The Spiral" formed in july 2005. Patrick "Paddy" (vocals/guitar), Stephan "Steinzi" (lead guitar), Marc (drums) and later Ulrich (bass) lay the foundation of what to become the New Wave/Death Rock/Post Punk-Band "The Spiral".
Patrick's former band was the "The Chain", Berlin's local scene-heroes. Ulrich played the four-string in the bands "Exedra" and "Sepulcrum Mentis". In september/october 2005 Juliane, our keyboardess, joined the band. Eventually the five-piece line-up was completed.
A couple of songs have been composed since the first rehearsal in summer 2005. At the End of april 2006 Ulrich left the band.
Toxo will be the new bassist of The Spiral. He played in several punk bands during the nineties. Since 2000 he was part of the Wave-Gothic group "Sargnagel"; later he was a member of the melancholic rock band "The Shapes". Lovers of mead (Honey wine) and incense might know him for his Amarandel-Shop.
